Adventure Awaits in Every Season
We live our life up here working long days however it is also a very slow pace which we cherish so come prepared to slow down and get used to quiet—like really quiet. Wide open skies with the blackest nights, thousands of stars and just the sound of coyotes and the wind. Traffic jams are only made of cows and you will find the best kind and helpful folks.
Dont miss a season, some go pretty quick! You know that idaho weather, don't blink or we may be taking of the snow chains and loading up the paddle boards. Snowmobiles, Mushroom picking, wildflowers galore, sage hen hiking, Huckleberries, rafting, atv and utv rides, hunting, hunting, and then yeah hunting. This year some nice folks just took their guns for a walk about! Then its time to find a christmas tree.
Spring & Summer
Wildflowers come out in the spring and make for a wonderful drive out to the area. If the snow is melted enough you can enjoy the hiking trails at Sage Hen around May.
By July you can usually get up to the reservoir to relax by the lake, paddle board or boat around, go fishing or see if you're lucky enough to find some huckleberries.
Rafting Adventures
While you are in the area, if it's rafting season, we highly recommend popping over to Hwy 55 and visit Cascade Raft. I have taken a few trips with them and thoroughly enjoyed myself. We had people with us with all levels of ability and they are able to accommodate everyone.
